Our interior painting process:
-
Preparation is key to making your interior painting experience a good one. We’ll fill any cracks or nail holes in your walls and ceilings before painting and we’ll also prime any water spots where you may have had leaks.
-
Interior painting isn’t just about applying paint, it’s also about keeping the paint away from the places it shouldn’t be! As interior painting experts, we’ll go to great lengths to ensure that not a single drop of paint is spilled on your floor. We’ll protect your floors and furniture with plastic film and drop cloths. Don’t worry about moving the furniture, we’ll take care of that for you for an extra fee.
-
After every surface has been thoroughly prepped, it’s time to paint.
We cover all unpainted areas hardwood floors carpets decorating items and furniture.
Ceilings are always the first to be painted. We tape the walls to form the crisp line where the ceiling meets. After that is completely dry we will apply frog tape or blue tape all around the baseboards and trim then, we apply a small amount of caulking to prevent the bleed-in and form nice crisp lines when we paint the walls.
The last paint area are the doors where we will tape around the area also.
Any color changes generally require two coats of paint. If your interior painting project does not require a color change, then one coat of paint will most likely suffice. After painting the walls with two coats, we’ll paint your trim and doors.
-
Every night we clean and put away our equipment in a designated location in your home. Not only will we leave your home spotless, but we’ll move all of your furniture back to its original position when the project is done.
