Our process for kitchen cabinets spray painting or staining starts by removing all the items from the kitchen area, covering kitchen appliances and floors to protect them from dust or over spray. In order to start prepping we remove all drawers, doors, cabinet hardware, latches hinges and knobs. After we remove all items mentioned above, we proceed by cleaning or sanding the surfaces to be painted. Depending on the previous finish if gloss was applied, de-glossing or sanding may be required. Some surfaces require grain filling and priming before the finish is applied.

After prep is completed the cabinets are ready for the new paint or stain. We mask, cover and tape all unpainted areas before applying any paint. To accomplish a professional precise outcome that lasts, we apply two coats of semi-gloss urethane enamel for a beautiful finish. When the paint is completely dry, we then cleanup and put back everything just as it was before.
